Serves 2

Ingredients

1 carrot

1 beetroot

1 custard apple

1cm knob fresh ginger

1cm knob fresh turmeric

Pinch black pepper

½ tsp cinnamon

½ cup kombucha

Ice

Method

  1. Wash and chop the ends off the carrot and beetroot. Chop into quarters and place into a blender with some ice.

  2. Break a ripe custard apple open and scoop the flesh out of each half. Discard the seeds and add to the blender.

  3. Place all remaining ingredients into the blender and blitz for 30 seconds or until smooth. Add more or less kombucha, depending on how thick you like it.
